Cyclo Test integrates the unique ingredient 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran, an extract from Urtica Diodica, or more commonly referred to as stinging nettle. 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran works by attaching to the sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). Sex hormone-binding globulin regulate the amount of biologically active hormones in the body mainly by binding to sex hormones. When 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran attaches to SHBG, it becomes inactive so it is incapable of binding to sex hormones. In theory, this allows free testosterone and estradiol to rise, thus promoting higher levels of testosterone and muscle growth. 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran, in combination with the testosterone-enhancing effects of Eurycoma Longifolia Jack, provides the perfect environment for optimal strength gains and lean muscle development. Bioperine® is also incorporated into this stack to enhance the bioavailability of these components via increased absorption rates.
Velvet Bean Extract is derived from specific legumes known as Mucuna Pruriens. L-Dopa is a neurotransmitter that can be found in high amounts in velvet bean extract. L-Dopa is an amino acid that converts to dopamine, which is vital for brain function and the maintenance of various systems of the body. L-Dopa enhances the natural production of growth hormone, as well as other hormones circulating in the body.* While the health benefits of L-Dopa have been researched for many years, its availability from Mucuna Pruriens has only recently been revealed. It introduces a natural source of L-Dopa, thus it is biocompatible with the body and more readily absorbed. Cyclo Test scientifically combines velvet bean extract with the thermogenesis-stimulating effects of Coleus Forskohlii and Chelated Magnesium to ensure optimal absorption and enhance hormonal levels.
Cyclo Test is specifically devised to stimulate the production of testosterone and other anabolic hormones, while simultaneously minimizing the impact of estrogen on the body.* The metabolism of estrogen occurs via one of two pathways: the [destructive] metabolic pathway (16 alpha-hydroxylation) or the [favorable] metabolic pathway (2-hydroxylation). Indole-3-Carbinol has been suggested to shift the production of estrogen metabolites away from the destructive 16-hydroxy towards the more beneficial 2-hydroxy metabolites. Indole-3-carbinol is converted by stomach acid to diindolymethane (DIM) and indole (3,2,b) carbazole (ICZ). DIM yields more [beneficial] estrogen metabolites, which compete with testosterone for protein binding, thus helping to maintain higher levels of free testosterone. Indole-3-carbinol, in combination with the hormone-balancing effects of other various ingredients such as D-Calcium Glucarate help to promote the detoxification of excess estrogen circulating in the body, which ultimately promotes increased levels of testosterone.
